Oxfam Live Auction – Raising Money for South Asia River Basin Programme

The artist Jamie Hewlett behind Gorillaz, Tank Girl and Monkey has kindly donated a series of tender watercolours to raise funds to help fight climate change in South Asia which is subject to unrelenting cyclones in one of the world’s most disaster prone areas.

After witnessing the devastating effects on communities in Bangladesh, Jamie created a series of watercolours in a bid to show the human face of climate change. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of those prints which displays an uncharacteristic realism capturing both vulnerability and resilience.

London, Bristol and Birmingham, have hosted Under Water Colours but it is to enjoy its final public outing at Artzu Gallery, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Dubbed as a ‘Must See’ by Manchester Evening News as well as The Metro and The Guardian, this is one off opportunity to own a piece of iconic contemporary art.

Exhibition runs from 10th Nov – 20th Nov, 11.30 –5.30pm
